The Cage's Mask Mod

The land of Termina lies in a great deal of turmoil. Fiends have been appearing as if from nowhere. Climate changes, the likes of which no one has ever seen before. Citizens of the city "Clock Town" torn about whether to stay or to flee.

Yet the biggest threat looms right above their heads...

As luck would have it, a lone, yet talented, actor finds himself stumbling in the middle of this epidemic. Armed with his past acting experiences and abilities, can he take on the task of masking his true self under a facade of another's face?

This entire project started out during a Criken stream of Majora's Mask, where Shayne Hawke sent out a screenshot of Nic Cage's face over Link's face. It was at this moment that an idea to create an entire texture pack using this image came to fruition.

The first attempt at finishing the mod took over half a year to "complete". Not only were many important textures still missing, but worse yet, the entire folder was lost due to hard drive errors...

Quite awhile later, Shayne Hawke began to get motivated to finish what he started, and not only finished the entire Texture Pack from scratch, but managed to do it nearly 400% faster than the first time around.

Included in this release is a FULL re-imagination of The Legend of Zelda: Majoras Mask where all major characters and important props are imbued with the Essence of Cage. Everything from Clocktown to Zoras Domain has gotten a shiny make over so load it on up and enjoy the show.
